I have been thinking that Facebook needs a few slogans to advertise it more, here are my top 10:

10. Making birthday wishes come true…if your birthday wish is to have 150 comments of the same thing.

9. Stalking is the new pink.

8. We let you know what other people also said about that photo.

7. If you don’t like our layouts, there are groups you can join.

6. Now people can know the minute you are single…even advertisers.

5. A better way of ignoring your real friends.

4. Your boss has one, it’s gotta be cool.

3. Dateline can’t keep us down.

2. At least we’re not MySpace.

1. Keeping you in touch with your friend’s parents since 2006.

Burning bridges.

I was driving down the road and was looking at the trees and trying to fathom how long it took those trees to get there and that big, and how often I just drive by them.

Then I drove under a bridge, and was thinking about how the steel was possibly made and that a tractor trailer had to transport it from the steel factory then drop it off to be made into a bridge, and then I kind of thought about the chances of that tractor trailer sometime later driving over the bridge that it transported.

I guess you can learn three things from this:

1. You can carry something and it can one day carry you, kind of like how our parents raise us then we take care of them when they are old.

2. You never know where something or someone has been so don’t assume that you haven’t been positively affected by someone. There could be someone that is the reason you are alive today that you hate, and don’t know it. Kind of like if the bridge gave out on the tractor trailer.

3. I need to buy an ipod or get a girlfriend because I think about stupid things like bridges too much.

A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met.

I was at a church and sitting down during the music. Though it seemed some people around me assumed I wasn’t worshiping, they would be right to say I wasn’t singing.

While sitting there in my thoughts, a little girl saw me and waved. She didn’t care what I was doing or wasn’t doing, she didn’t care whether or not I had brand name clothes or the same style as her. She just saw a person and saw a friend.

Jesus said we should be like children to enter His kingdom, from that, I have been learning a lot from kids.

That night I learned that kids see people as potential friends. Anyone with a soul seems to attract kids. They don’t judge, assume, they don’t need to know what your major is or favorite band is to be your friend, they just know there is someone in front of them that they can laugh with and learn with.

Seeing people as friends and not enemies allows us to care for others the way we should and allows us to learn along with each other.

I hope the limes don’t turn sour

A lime truck near my house crashed and limes went every where, so the neighborhood, including my parents, decided they needed several bags of limes.

I am still not sure what a family can do with several bags of limes, in fact I cannot think of a fruit with less uses than a lime.

When life gives you limes…

…learn to juggle, cause there is not much else you can do.
