This may sound crazy, but finding this blog entry was an answer to my prayers. Recently I have been on and off about Christ, I'll pray then forget, then pray when I need him or something again.

You're 100% right, lots of us don't follow up on our prayers. We just ask for it, and forget to update, or maybe pray once because we were asked and forget about it the next day, we hear it so much we just stop caring, or feel so overburdened with prayers we stop praying and lose hope in God for ourselves.

I have a wonderful influence in my life, her name is Joanna, she has helped me through thick and thin, and is always there to pray for me. Recently she moved 12 hours away, and though we text all the time, I never let her know the good outcomes of my prayers. As well I am a high school senior that is also a youth leader for the middle school students in my community, so I do know the feeling of waiting and wondering the outcome. As soon as I finish typing this I am going to send a message to Jo, telling her all the good outcomes that have happened as a result of Christ, and the next time I see the kids I lead, Ill ask them on how it went.

I am so happy, excited and thankful you said this, becuase you have inspired me to pray and follow up with the good things that come. It may seem like a trival comment left by someone over the internet, but I really do mean what I say. I hope this blog reaches someother person like me and it touches me in the same way. I don't know if you just typed this because it was on your mind or to inspire, but it truly does mean alot to me. Thanks so much Issac! You truly are a blessing and your words could change the world!

Yours in Christ,
Jessica B.

This really, really hit home for me. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this matter-- I've been there too, in the place where I hear so many stories of heartache that I start giving up on hope for them. This came at a moment when it was needed. God bless.
