Know that you are not alone. I struggle in the same way of knowing God exists, but not believing that God loves my unconditionally. I'm learning daily how to accept His love for me and how to love him in return.
I heard that same story a few days ago in Nashville and was challenged in the same way. He spoke the words of Christ; words of encouragement and not condemnation to those in the room who were struggling to understand and grasp God's love for them. Me included.
I loved seeing the tremendous joy that poured from him and his friends...they were following God's path for their lives and He was blessing them with a joy that can only be received from the Holy Spirit. I saw the representation of God's love on stage that night. It was evident, it was encouraging. I hope it was the same for you! I will be praying for you!
